Faith Based Programs

"Science can only go so far, then comes God."  -Nicholas Sparks

How Carrus Cares

The goal of Carrus is to transform healthcare through hope and healing. We accomplish that by focusing on children's mind, body, and spirit. Carrus Behavioral Health is now proud to offer an alternative to traditional treatments for teens. In an effort to further support our mission of improving children's lives, we have launched Carrus Care, a Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) and Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) available for children ages 8-17.

Often referred to as “Day Treatment”, this Monday through Friday, 6-8 week program is ideal for children who need a dedicated team working to teach them skills to maintain their own mental health while balancing school stressors, home stressors, friendships, and relationships.

Children will receive a full day of education and treatment guided by a Licensed Psychiatrist and Therapist and then will return home in the evening to apply what they have learned. The following day, the child will be encouraged to share with their Therapist how the application of their new skills worked for them.

This allows for real time feedback and adjustments to their personalized treatment plan ensuring the child's overall success. PHP/IOP is often a great transition for children when stepping down from an inpatient level of care or can also be used for children stepping up to a higher level of care than traditional counseling and psychiatry.

Carrus Care Frisco is proud to offer a one-of-a-kind 'Faith Based Program' and a 'Care Program' to ensure comfort and success for all children. It is our hope that the care and treatment children receive while at Carrus will help catapult them into success for the rest of their lives. We at Carrus understand that true outcomes lie in the effectiveness of our programs and the success of our children. Faith Based

Carrus Care helps teens struggling with mental health disorders build a strong foundation for life by utilizing a faith-based approach for not only the body and mind, but the spirit as well.  Located in Frisco Texas, Carrus Care is the only provider of behavioral health services offering a faith based, non denominational, treatment option for teens ages 8-17 designed specifically for those who desire a faith based perspective as part of their individualized treatment plan. This non-denominational program provides a supportive environment to help teens build and strengthen their faith throughout their time at Carrus Care.

Looking forward to the future

At Carrus Care Frisco, we recognize individuality and appreciate that each child has their own background and life experiences that have shaped them into the person they are today. Our goal is to provide programming that meets and exceeds our clients’ needs, both in their personal lives and in spiritual journey. We have found that those individuals who have support not only from their friends and family, but also from leaders and brothers/sisters in faith often experience great success when provided a program that not only encourages that sense of faith, but helps them grow that faith. The lessons the children learn about faith while at Carrus can often be applied to their everyday life and used to grow each child as an individual.

The staff at Carrus Care have personally prayed over the facility and every chair within the facility for continued success and growth not only during their time of need at Carrus, but throughout life. The children at Carrus are treated as Family, welcomed like family, and provided care as if they are our own children. Our staff is committed to meeting the needs of every child both spiritually and therapeutically. At Carrus Care, we recognize that one size fits all treatment and therapeutic approaches does not help all children; we see our children as individuals just as we view our family as individuals as well. In order to provide the best treatment we can to children, we must recognize our short comings as individuals and embrace that fact that: "Science can only go so far, Then comes God." - Nicholas Sparks
